My go to shop whenever I'm in Portland. Nester is the best. I feel like I can actually trust these guys. I live in Seattle but sometimes will save my need for service until I visit Portland again and go to Everett Street Autoworks.

Great little mechanic shop. They communicate well, do what they say they will and are clear about their work. Nester made sure that I had the right tire choice for our car, and didn’t try to upsell us. Also located conveniently along the MAX line, so dropping off and picking up your car is super easy.

The team is very courteous, efficient and friendly. Generally all work was well done. I had a full service plus cabin and engine filter changes. I asked for a diagnostic of some sounds while driving but it couldn't be replicated. The car was ready to go in under 4 hours.

I had a new engine and radiator installed by them. I seen radiator fluid in my engine bay a year later and took it back to them to repair. We did not agree on who was responsible for fixing the issue, but they went ahead in good faith and fixed it for the cost of the part. Able was very professional, as I was pretty irritated that they put on an old hose on my new engine. But in the end they made it right, even though they did not agree with me.

They changed my headlight bulbs which has been annoying me for ages. I usually take my car to the dealer for oil changes and routine work and they repeatedly refused to change the bulbs for me, because they “still worked”. They worked but they were way too bright (running light was the same bulb as high beam i learned from everett mechanic), and the running lights flickered so i was always using my highbeams. A silly issue that i just wanted fixed, and the Everett garage team didn’t question me, they put in the right bulbs and offered me back the old ones. Charged a fair price for the parts and labor and were done very quickly. I appreciate them doing this for me.

I insisted on an OEM part. Everett found it, installed it and found it defective. They replaced it with another OEM part... and absorbed the install labor. It was more time and money than just a few hundred dollars. I'm very appreciative of their integrity... and perhaps less impressed with the OEM.

This was my first time visiting Everett Auto Works and they certainly lived up to the hype I had heard about them. I used them for scheduled maintenance for my RAV4 hybrid, and found their work to be exceptional, their staff very friendly and accommodating, and their price is extremely competitive. While this was my first time, it will not be the last time that I use them.
